Scan-Button in Freifunk-Page

Would be helpful to have scan-functionality not only password protected in the admin area.

i agree it could be useful, but there is a problem: While one does a scan the interface becomes unavailable for 1 to some seconds and the router doesn't respond. Also forwarded traffic will stall for some seconds then. If someone can tell me how to do it without that effect i can reimplement it, but i guess its not possible (because while scanning we need to switch the channels).

Hmm...you r right. Thats a problem.
So its a risk to implemet it, because traffic can be permanently interrupted in the whole network if somebody uses an easy script.
Better to cancle the request
